Accounting Manager

National real estate company is looking to hire an Accounting Manager for their Boca Raton, FL office. You will be assisting the Regional Controller with technical accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage timely month-end and year-end close and distribution of financial reporting
  • Reconciliation of various project accounts
  • Handle forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash management
  • Oversee a system of controls with the regional accountants to assure accurate job cost reporting and billing
  • Facilitating reviews and audits with outside accounting firm
  • Supervise Staff and Senior Accountants
  • Perform ad-hoc support on projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (1+ years within the real estate/construction industry at the Manager level) or audit experience from a large CPA Firm as an Audit Manager
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Yardi software experience is a plus
