Senior Revenue Accountant

A large online retailer is looking to hire a Senior Revenue Accountant for their team in Pembroke Pines, FL. This role will perform general ledger activities including revenue, month-end close, and account reconciliations.

This is a hybrid office role: 1 day in the office and 4 days at home

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the month, quarter, and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
  • Reconcile various balance sheet & income statement accounts such as accounts receivable, deferred liabilities, and revenue
  • Communicate with multiple departments and 3rd party staff to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting of revenue reports
  • Assist with revenue/deferred revenue calculations and reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain journal entries
  • Review purchase orders
  • Assist with audit functions
  • Respond to inquiries from upper management regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA license or public accounting experience is a plus
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
