Accounting Manager

National distributor with an office in Miami is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This is a very hands-on role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of distribution industry experience with a company that has over $150M in sales
  • SKU and inventory experience; thorough understanding of cost and inventory, warehousing, and related logistics
  • Strong ERP software and MS Excel experience

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries and oversee A/R, A/P, and payroll
  • Provide daily cash review and reporting
  • Prepare monthly general ledger and financial statements
  • Assist in preparation of monthly consolidation
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account analyses
  • Prepare monthly analyses of key corporate departmental expenses vs. budget
  • Assist with year-end audits
