A private equity firm based in Boca Raton, FL is looking to hire a Director of Business Intelligence. The Director of Business Intelligence will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's Data and Analytics strategy. This role will oversee the development and governance of the organization's reporting infrastructure, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data, and utilizing insights to support strategic decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, data visualization, and governance, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of the company’s data and analytics strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and governance requirements.
• Develop and manage processes to consolidate and standardize key performance metrics from various systems into a unified reporting platform.
• Create and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
• Drive data analysis initiatives, including trend analysis, predictive modeling, and other advanced analytics techniques, to support decision-making.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring that data quality, consistency, and security protocols are adhered to across the organization.
• Manage a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in data practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve BI processes, tools, and systems for better performance and alignment with evolving business goals.
• Oversee data flow from multiple source systems, ensuring efficient data management practices and focusing on automation and standardization.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across all reporting platforms, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar platforms, with expertise in creating complex visualizations and reports.
• Strong background in data analysis, including proficiency in SQL, data mining, and data modeling. Experience with ETL processes is a plus.
