One of the largest real estate companies in North America is looking to hire a Controller. This position has the flexibility to work from home as well as in the company’s Pompano Beach office.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze quarterly consolidated financial statements and accounting reports
  • Manage the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
  • Supervise the accounting department and oversee the payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process
  • Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with external auditors in the completion of the financial audits
  • Work closely with other departments
  • Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Preferences:

  • CPA license is preferred but not required
  • Real estate or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required
  • 7+ years of corporate accounting experience
  • Large ERP software experience
