A wealth management firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Senior Accountant. This individual will assist the Controller with accurate and timely accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes
- Participate in the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain journal entries
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Respond to inquiries from upper management regarding financial results and special reporting requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced MS Excel experience
- Large ERP systems experience
