National retailer/ecommerce company is looking to hire a hands-on Accounting Manager to assist the CFO with daily corporate accounting functions. This role will be 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily accounting activities
• Prepare and maintain journal entries, balance sheet, and monthly bank account reconciliations
• Perform general ledger account analysis including variance analysis
• Oversee accounts payable functions
• Participate in the month, quarter, and year-end close activities
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes
• Respond to inquiries from Management regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA is highly preferred
• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Retail, consumer goods, or ecommerce industry experience
• QuickBooks experience
