Accounting Manager

A thriving corporation, based in Hollywood, FL, is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This individual will assist the Corporate Controller and CFO with accurate and timely accounting and financial statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation, including variance analysis
  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable and payroll clerks and make adjusted journal entries when needed
  • Compare actual revenues and expenses with budget and analyze discrepancies
  • Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

  • CPA and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Strong computer skills including advanced MS Excel experience
