Regional Controller

National distributor with an office in Miami is looking to hire a Regional Controller to cover their southeast operations. This is a very hands-on role as you will dive into both the financials and operations of the southeast locations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Extensive distribution industry experience with a company that has over $150M in sales
  • SKU and inventory experience; thorough understanding of cost and inventory, warehousing, and related logistics
  • Supervisory experience as you will oversee a staff of 5-10 accounting professionals
  • Strong ERP software experience
  • Ability to travel to the southeast locations

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting, billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance and other projects as assigned
  • Provide management with weekly and monthly reports
  • Prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Prepare the annual budget
  • Lead, train, and mentor regional accounting staff
  • Use measurement and reporting to drive business goals such as cost reduction initiatives, working capital management, and return on capital employed to ensure that they are adequately measured, managed, and achieved
