National company, based in West Palm Beach, FL is looking to hire an Assistant Controller. This individual will assist the Corporate Controller with accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Assist with timely month-end and year-end close
• Review and prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations including subsidiary accounts
• Assist the Controller and FP&A Director with managing budget and performing variance analysis
• Prepare asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries
• Help supervise the accounting team and support A/P & A/R functions
• Respond to inquiries from executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Active CPA license or National CPA firm audit experience is highly preferred
