Accounting Manager/Controller

A Not-For-Profit organization located in Fort Lauderdale is looking to hire an Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee all aspects of the organizations accounting functions. In the position you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, directing ledger accounts and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of daily, monthly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Completes financial analyses of cash flow for presentation to CEO
  • Coordinate tax reporting requirements; works with external accountants to file federal, state, payroll tax returns and any necessary filings
  • Process payroll
  • Prepare and monitor the budgets
  • Coordinate the annual audit and assists external auditors
  • Supervise and train staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting experience (NFP experience is preferred)
  • Sage or any other ERP software experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
