Global Publicly Traded Company is looking to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst to be based in their Bogota, Colombia office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial reports and statements within the region and ensure financial activity is properly recorded
• Document the Company’s position on technical matters, including new guidance
• Provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare accounting memorandums that document issues
• Perform variance analysis and explain any discrepancies and findings
• Review and analyze budgets, actual performance versus targets
• Assist in the facilitation of the annual audit and quarterly financial reviews
• Review structure and standards to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively
• Perform ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• Active US CPA license
• US GAAP knowledge
• National CPA Firm Audit experience (Big 4 or 2nd Tier)
• Experience with preparing financial statements in US GAAP
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Willing to travel 25-50% throughout Latin America and US
