As a Funder, you will review CD to obtain the wire amount before table funding the loan while reviewing funding documents via email correspondence throughout the day. Review funding documents for funding authorization(s) provided by the Title Companies and any extra documents requested on the closing instructions, before giving the Title Companies approval to fund and record. The ideal candidate for this position should be a customer service-oriented professional who will be able to effectively communicate with all related parties to successfully close the loan transaction with high attention to details.

Primary responsibilities:

• Preparing all loan documents and communicating status of documents, funding's and pre-funding loan conditions to all interested parties including escrow, title, and the originations department.

• Respond to phone messages & emails in a timely manner and work closely with the originations department to establish productive and efficient work flows with loans coming to closing and funding

• Review signed loan documents for accuracy, completeness, vesting requirements and compliance requirements.

• Ensure that all documents are collected prior to funding on Bond loans & Responsible for completing prefunding verifications

• Interact with the accounting department on wire procedures, accounting related duties such as account reconciliation.

• Back up the Closer on all daily functions upon demand

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Organized and detailed oriented to handle a large volume of transactions

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Must be comfortable on the phone and have good phone etiquette

• Ability to follow processes and procedures and meet daily deadlines

  Qualifications

• Minimum 1 yr in the mortgage industry.

• Good math and calculation skills.

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.

• Strong customer service and time management skills a must.

• Highly motivated and determined to succeed in a competitive, time sensitive industry.
