Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with the Chief HR Manager and Chief People Officer to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Implement workforce planning strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the local HR budget in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Lead strategic HR initiatives and projects as assigned by corporate leadership.
  • Develop and oversee the company’s compensation and benefits plan in Mexico, ensuring market competitiveness and performance-based incentives.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with both corporate standards and Mexican labor regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with talent vendors and HR resource firms to build a strong talent pipeline.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Manage labor union relations, ensuring compliance with agreements while promoting a cooperative work environment.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including quarterly and annual reviews, to support employee development and retention.
  • Design and implement employee development and training programs aligned with business goals.
  • Drive culture enhancement initiatives, including employee engagement and retention strategies.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Provide HR analytics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain employee training records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle all government-related policies, events, and meetings.
  • Act as the HR liaison between JW headquarters and the JW Mexico factory.
  • Support the JW factory general manager with any unexpected HR or administrative issues.
  • Plan and organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, family days, birthday celebrations, and town hall meetings.
  • Manage key administrative functions, including factory utility costs, legal services, and employee support programs (meals, living, transportation).
  • Facilitate customer and guest visits, including hotel and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as an HR Manager.
  • Proven experience in plant startups and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Bilingual in "Mandarin & Spanish" or "English & Spanish" (fluent in both spoken and written communication).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business needs and employee relations.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

  • Experience overseeing payroll functions.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local laws.
  • Experience managing recruitment operations and talent vendor relationships in the region.
