Cloud Systems Administrator

As a Cloud and Systems Administrator, you will install, configure and maintain both on premises IT services and cloud-based technologies. The CSA will provide also provide day-to-day support for a global enterprise to ensure the end users have the technologies needed to be highly productive. While the focus will be with Microsoft based technologies, the CSA will also be hands-on with various other technologies. You must be able to clearly communicate with the customers to gather requirements and translate them to solutions using the right technologies. Additionally, must be able to analyze, design and create end-to-end systems, scripts or processes. Using these skills, the CSA would also then plan, test and deploy changes to existing systems. Leverage best-in-class global practices to lead, develop, deliver and support enterprise wide programs and technology establishing Poly as an ‘employer of choice’.

 

Your day to day:

 

  • Provides day to day support to existing workflows and IT solutions.

     

  • Implementation of new systems, services and applications.

     

  • Monitoring and tend analysis to proactively address issues.

     

  • Troubleshooting system or application issues.

     

  • Effectively gathering requirements vs documenting a request.

     

  • Presenting proposals to customers with the appropriate solution.

     

  • Providing training and user manuals to users of a new system.

     

  • Logging detailed and accurate data on Service Desk ticket management tool (Service-Now).

     

  • Follow documented processes and procedures, especially when adhering to compliance and standards regulations

     

  • Participate in IT-related projects as needed.

     

     

     

    What you bring to the team:

     

  • You have experience with Microsoft Office 365 / Azure / AWS.

     

  • You have experience with supporting Windows Server 2016/2019 in a medium to large company (200+ servers).

     

  • You have experience with Active Directory, LDAP & SSO technologies.

     

  • Experience with SCCM/Intune asset management

     

  • You have experience with working in a multi-site enterprise environment.

     

  • You have experience with PowerShell and Power Apps to script and automate.

     

  • You have experience in a programming language such as ASP.net, C#, VB, PHP, Java is a plus.

     

  • You are a highly customer-focused, detail-oriented individual.

     

  • You have analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved.

     

  • You have a strong work ethic.

     

  • You have a positive attitude and are able to work well under pressure.

     

  • You have strong communication skills. Ability to present complex topics to non-technical people.

     

  • 90% English.
