Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, development, and integration of advanced electrical process control systems and electromechanical components. This position involves managing projects, driving innovation, and providing expert technical guidance.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the design, development, and release of advanced electrical process control systems and electromechanical components, ensuring they meet design specifications and customer requirements.
· Manage comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with project team members, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and integration.
· Develop, implement, and refine product testing methods, overseeing all aspects of testing to evaluate and validate product performance.
· Direct initial start-up activities at manufacturing facilities and provide expert technical support to ensure successful product launches and integration.
· Provide high-level technical product information and support to customers, service engineers, and internal teams, facilitating the successful introduction of new products.
· Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic recommendations to internal and manufacturing operations personnel.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant environmental and safety laws.
· Travel frequently to customer sites and other company locations as required, including international destinations.
· Perform other related responsibilities as needed and as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
· 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with extensive expertise in industrial control systems and electromechanical components.
· Advanced proficiency in creating schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and wiring diagrams.
· Extensive experience with PLC solutions, drives and motors, and industrial I/O networks.
· Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Allen Bradley software.
· Experienced in C++, C#, Python, or experience with any other high-level programming language.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven leadership and project management capabilities.
· Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally.
