Sparrow Company is looking for PROJECT PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR for one of our clients in Cincinnati, OH. This is a TEMPORARY position.
BASIC FUNCTION: This position coordinates activities with procurement, engineering and finance to ensure project related tasks are on target. Work with minimal supervision, perform varied and complex administrative tasks, sometimes with advanced computer software, while exercising discretion and judgment to meet established deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate, update and maintain documents required to allow for proper tracking and follow-up of key project requirements. This includes but is not limited to tracking of project orders with status, processing of payment requests and necessary follow-up, tracking of required delivery dates with status and providing notification to Manager and/or project buyer when necessary.
• Could be required to use SAP to create requisitions and receive goods and services for projects, as required and applicable. SAP would also be a key tool to gather needed information for tracking and reporting project details.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum.
3 years of experience in an office administrative role or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must possess knowledge of excel and have strong communication.
Proficiency with SAP ERP and standard office software – preferred but not required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish – preferred but not required.
Team player and positive attitude is a must.
