Project Analyst role

Fully remote for a one year project.  Can sit anywhere in the US but needs to be flexible and can support project teams in European and Asian Time zones.  Client activities will be in PST 7a-4p

This role will act as a key coordination role to report out the testing status, help with test strategy planning, Cutover and data loading pre-production, coordination of user onboarding, and direction over supplier enablement initiatives. This would provide a person to delegate tactical items to during high volume periods while allowing me to focus on strategic planning for upcoming waves and leadership show and tell as well as any major design or functional changes that are coming up during deployments.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages assigned projects through full-lifecycle, from requirements definition through stabilization; Manages geographically dispersed business teams, off-shore development teams, and third-party vendors; Manages highly complex projects of a large complex global Finance program; Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet product owner and internal stakeholder expectations; Provides management visibility into project status while executing effective decision-making, approvals, and direction
  • Training materials development, meeting coordination, and training delivery.
  • Coordinating and managing system cutover and data loads for testing and launches.
  • Coordination of user onboarding and supplier enablement activities related to launches.
  • Some business requirements documentation, development coordination, project management duties, and testing support for enhancements and other supporting projects.
  • Assist with testing strategy design and coordination, and managing system integration and user acceptance testing cycles
  • Additional duties related to master data and stakeholder analysis

Minimum Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred

Years and Type of Experience Required:

  • 6+ years project management experience
  • 2-4 years business analysis experience
  • 3+ years of Global program or Enterprise project management

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Experience implementing, improving, and enhancing SAP FI/CO and third party applications strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with global teams
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and to work well with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence change outside of the span of control and build stakeholder support
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to get results through formal channels and informal networking within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written skills
  • A self-starter who is energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable, and a customer-oriented team player
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO and P2P applications is strongly preferred.
