The District Sales Manager is responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying and selling Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, High-Speed Small Hole EDM, High-Speed Milling Machines, Additive Machines and related consumable parts.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain relationships with customers and sales dealers in an assigned territory through frequent visits and other communication, including participation in trade shows.
  2. Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
  3. Manage client and sales dealer relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
  4. Provide one-on-one sales presentations.
  5. Increase account penetration at established and potential customers and sales dealers.
  6. Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure proper handling of customer and sales dealer requirements.
  7. Remain knowledgeable to market and industry trends, competitors and partners to ensure the company’s products are highly competitive and well-received.
  8. Track customer and sales dealer information, forecasts and reports and maintain effective sales database.

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1. Experience in a machine tool industry required.
  2. At least 3 years of sales experience with high record of achievement.
  3. Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team.
  4. Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  5. BA/BS in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.
  6. Occasional overnight travel required.
