The District Sales Manager is responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying and selling Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, High-Speed Small Hole EDM, High-Speed Milling Machines, Additive Machines and related consumable parts.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and sales dealers in an assigned territory through frequent visits and other communication, including participation in trade shows.
- Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
- Manage client and sales dealer relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Provide one-on-one sales presentations.
- Increase account penetration at established and potential customers and sales dealers.
- Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure proper handling of customer and sales dealer requirements.
- Remain knowledgeable to market and industry trends, competitors and partners to ensure the company’s products are highly competitive and well-received.
- Track customer and sales dealer information, forecasts and reports and maintain effective sales database.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Experience in a machine tool industry required.
- At least 3 years of sales experience with high record of achievement.
- Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
- BA/BS in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
