Associate Marketing Director of Brand Communications


In the pursuit of top talent, we are recruiting the newly created position of Associate Marketing Director of Brand Communications reporting directly to the newly hired Chief Marketing Officer. This individual will lead the company’s global efforts across the entire product portfolio and corporate branding with these initial key goals in mind:

  • Leverage relevant industry knowledge to contribute to the development of the marketing plan. Inspire and lead the implementation of the plan across the organization.
  • Embrace and champion a change management process as the company is in the midst of a performance-based cultural transformation.
  • Build & extend brands through elevated marketing and enhanced consumer focus.

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced marketing leader and contributor with high EQ and a self-starter mentality. Must have a ‘roll-up-your sleeves’ attitude & work ethic. Top-notch intellectual rigor and a detail-oriented nature are a must, balanced with a highly creative mind unafraid to challenge the norm or take risks.


  • 7+ years integrated marketing experience in product marketing, digital, branding, retail marketing.
  • Help lead and execute the annual marketing plan. Improve brand consistency and presence, leading targeted direct marketing programs, website content, product campaigns, newsletters, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Lead all consumer marketing campaigns including advertising, digital/social media, website and public relations. Lead strategic design, development, monitoring and analytics of website and other digital channels to ensure optimal content strategy is in place, and the ideal user experience is achieved. Report cross channel results organizationally.
  • Day to day management with agency partner(s) related to creative work and media, including overseeing development and execution of mass advertising and promotional campaigns, including TV, out-of-home, radio, digital, direct marketing, social media and emerging media; performance management, scope of work negotiations, annual review, etc. Lead and execute with external marketing partners for all consumer trial and awareness tactics to capture larger share of wallet and drive unit/dollar velocity and sales. Monitor, measure and report effectiveness of the programs.
  • Establish and lead CRM for consumer nurturing, retention & advocacy for volume / organizational growth. Responsible for consumer acquisition and retention communications and creative services, including promotional approach and calendar
  • Responsible for contributing to brand growth (sales, velocity, etc.) across categories to drive company profitability.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to develop brand strategy and drive business results.
  • Retain and develop marketing professionals. Coach, mentor, and provide development opportunities for direct report(s). Provide feedback regarding performance and progress on established goals and objectives.
  • Oversee effective time management, proper processes and procedures to ensure prioritization of projects, efficiency and on-time/on-budget tactical deliverables.
  • Identify and address key business issues; incorporating data, insights, marketplace performance, and implications in recommendations and plans.
  • Contribute to developing sales collateral, packaging, POS material, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on the marketing & launch of new products.
  • Build and effectively manage the brand budget. Be accountable for optimizing revenue-generation and expense/investment decision-making.
  • Ability to work across wide variety of categories, managing breadth & depth of responsibilities. Promote and establish a strong, positive and productive working relationships through commitment to the organization’s vision and core values.
