About the Role
We’re looking for a Survey Coordinator to provide day-to-day operational support to our field survey teams. This role is essential in keeping projects on schedule, ensuring crews are properly prepared, and improving communication between the field and office. If you have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in survey operations, this position offers both stability and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage crew schedules based on project deadlines and staff availability
- Coordinate project-specific field needs, including equipment, utility mark-outs, and site access
- Track project progress and assist in identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Provide administrative and logistical support between the office and field teams
- Support setup and documentation for survey projects, including work orders and deliverables
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in land surveying (field, office, or coordination roles)
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble, or similar survey software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with municipal or public-sector projects is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Crew Chief, CAD Tech, or Survey Project Coordinator
- Understanding of GPR, 3D scanning, or other advanced survey tools
- Experience working in a firm focused on municipal or infrastructure projects
