Location: Cary, NC (Projects across the Raleigh area, with some travel as far as Wilson, Elizabeth City, and Mebane)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Junior Party Chief to join our team in Cary, NC. This role is ideal for someone with surveying experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll work alongside an experienced Crew Chief who is transitioning into the office, providing essential support for field operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop leadership skills while gaining hands-on experience in diverse survey projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction stakeout and field surveys with minimal supervision.
• Work closely with an Assistant Project Manager based in Raleigh.
• Support field operations by setting up and operating surveying instruments (Total Stations, GPS, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency on-site, following proper surveying procedures.
• Communicate effectively with field and office teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in surveying or as a Survey Crew Member.
• Ability to work independently in the field when needed.
• Strong understanding of construction stakeout techniques.
• Experience with Trimble, Leica, or Topcon equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license (company truck provided).
