The robotics engineer will work primarily on software development in the following areas
ROS based control software
Embedded real-time control software for brushless motors
Embedded real-time firmware
In addition to working primarily on robotics software, the candidate will have opportunities to work on mechanical design, machining, electrical design, and industrial design.
Experience working for a Robotics or Autonomous Vehicle Company
Master’s plus 2+ years experience is an ideal candidate
Currently working with a drone or autonomous device startup
Experience writing software in C/C++
Experience with a scripting language (preferably python)
Knowledge of multi-threaded software and concurrency
Strong debugging skills in both embedded and non-embedded systems
Strong knowledge of control systems and mechatronics
Experienced both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Web application development
Experience with AWS services and tools
