Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in SecDevOps to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in designing, developing, and securing applications throughout the entire software development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing RESTful APIs with security implementation, specifically using HTTPS, and will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Software Development Life Cycle Participation: Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Application Development: Design and develop high-quality, scalable applications using .NET technologies, with a focus on secure coding practices.
• RESTful API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring secure implementation using HTTPS and adhering to industry best practices.
• Debugging and Configuration: Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues, and configure existing systems to enhance performance and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and security teams, to ensure that security is integrated into the development process.
• Secure Coding Practices: Advocate for and implement secure coding practices across the development team to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Vulnerability Prevention: Monitor and address security vulnerabilities in applications, working proactively to mitigate risks.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for software development processes, APIs, and security measures to ensure clarity and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in .NET development with a focus on SecDevOps practices.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and principles.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
• SecDevOps Expertise: Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools that enhance application security throughout the development process.
• Cybersecurity Understanding: Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and best practices for preventing them (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
