Job Title: QA Engineer with SecDevOps Experience

Job Schedule: Normal business hour Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Job Description:

We are looking for Skilled QA Engineer with a strong SecDevOps background to ensure the quality and security of our software products. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test plans, implement automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for applications.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct security assessments, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews and design sessions to ensure security considerations are included.
• Work closely with SecDevOps teams to implement security best practices in testing processes.
• Perform regression, performance, and load testing as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends in QA, SecDevOps, and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing in cloud environment (Azure) and security practices.
• Strong understanding of SecDevOps principles and practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP).
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in quality assurance (ISTQB) or cybersecurity (Security+) are a plus
