Position : Staff Accountant

Compensation: $22 to $23 per hour

Job Type: 12 Month Contract - Full Time Hours

Location : Fort Worth, TX, 76106

Experience: 5 years +

We are looking for a Staff Accountant as part of our accounting team. You would work in close cooperation with other finance colleagues locally and in other US offices.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all journal entries are processed and drive the month-end reporting activities.
• Prepare AP invoices for management/corporate.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements.
• Assisting with preparation of Driver Settlements.
• Billing Customers and Manage Collection Efforts.
• Supporting and filling in as a backup to all other team members.
  • Process the weekly Driver checks/settlements.
  • Daily cash applications.
  • Vendor invoice verifications.
  • Customer and Vendor settlement management.
  • AR collections and clearance.
  • Local AP duties.
  • Assist where necessary.

    Required qualifications

• At least 3-5years’ work experience in accounting preferably in international transportation (Truck Transportation)
• MUST Have an understanding of how the work flow process for a logistic terminal works
• Good analytical skills and ability to take on own initiatives to further develop the role and processes
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent computer skills, preferably Quick Books and Excel

  Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
