Structure Resources is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing, nationally recognized electrical contractor. We're looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager with some experience in electrical construction or project coordination. This individual will support project managers in all aspects of project delivery—helping to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications.
This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to contribute to complex commercial, industrial, and data center projects nationwide.
What They’re Looking For
3-5 years of experience in electrical construction, project coordination, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent technical experience
Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar)
Understanding of electrical codes, construction practices, and project documentation
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Motivated, proactive, and able to support multiple project tasks simultaneously
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with field and office teams
Key Responsibilities
Assist project managers with daily project coordination, including RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Support scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking for assigned projects
Coordinate with clients, vendors, architects, contractors, and internal teams to support project execution
Help maintain accurate project folders, drawings, and documentation
Track field progress, report updates, and help resolve technical or logistical issues
Support preparation of as-built documentation and project closeout activities
Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and multi-discipline coordination
Stay current on electrical codes, construction practices, and industry best practices

This will be a travel role with an 11 on, 3 off schedule.
