Structure Resources is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing, nationally recognized electrical contractor. This firm delivers complex electrical projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, providing design, build, and maintenance services, and is known for quality execution, innovation, and an employee-focused culture.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Project Engineer with some experience in electrical design, construction, or related fields. This individual will support project managers and field teams in planning, coordination, and execution—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and according to specifications.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to contribute to complex commercial and industrial projects nationwide.

What They’re Looking For

  • Recent graduate or 0–3 years of experience in electrical engineering, construction, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, OR relevant technical experience

  • Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar)

  • Basic understanding of NEC standards, electrical codes, and construction practices

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

  • Motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with daily project coordination, including RFIs, submittals, and documentation

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of electrical drawings and specifications

  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, architects, contractors, and internal teams to support project delivery

  • Support field teams by helping track installation progress and resolving technical questions

  • Maintain project folders, documentation, and drawings for accuracy and completeness

  • Prepare as-built documentation and assist with project closeout activities

  • Contribute to scheduling, project planning, and coordination of multi-discipline teams

  • Stay current on electrical codes, construction practices, and industry best practices

Location:

This will be a travel role with an 11 days travel, 3 days home schedule.
