Structure Resources is seeking a Service Manager to join our client’s Indianapolis office. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a growing, service-focused electrical contractor that specializes in design-build work across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.
Our client is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Service Manager to oversee daily service operations and lead a growing team of field technicians. This role blends operations, client management, and business strategy—and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the field from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will have prior field experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to manage customer satisfaction, scheduling, technician support, and financial performance.
What They’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a senior electrical technician or service leadership role
- Solid technical understanding of electrical systems and strong familiarity with the NEC
- Proven ability to manage multiple technicians, prioritize scheduling, and oversee material procurement
- Comfortable managing service financials, margins, and post-project analysis
- Experience communicating directly with clients and resolving field-related challenges
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma required; construction management degree or technical training a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Sarasota, FL, with a strong network or business development knowledge in the area
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee scheduling, technician coordination, material procurement, and van stock organization
- Lead service team financial tracking, including gainshare payouts and margin reviews
- Ensure permitting, submittals, job close-outs, and punch lists are completed on time
- Coordinate project communication between clients, technicians, and internal teams
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify best practices and areas for improvement
- Review work orders and customer feedback regularly to track performance and satisfaction
- Attend job meetings and assist with business development when needed
