A highly respected Midwest law firm has engaged SuiteSpot Executive Search, LLC to assist in its search for a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator.

The Position:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts at both the firm-wide and practice group levels. This role focuses on executing marketing initiatives, creating materials, and providing administrative and logistical support to ensure seamless operations.

The Essentials:

  • Assist in implementing firm-wide marketing campaigns, communications, and digital initiatives.
  • Update and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, website content, and social media profiles.
  • Support branding efforts by ensuring consistency across materials and platforms.
  • Prepare and format RFP responses, client proposals, and presentations.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential clients to support business development strategies.
  • Maintain client relationship management (CRM) databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities tailored to individual practice groups, such as client alerts, newsletters, and events.
  • Assist in developing and distributing targeted content and materials.
  • Schedule and support practice group meetings and initiatives, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
  • Provide logistical support for webinars, conferences, and client events, including registration, materials preparation, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage event calendars and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
  • Manage timelines and track deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Process invoices and expense reports related to marketing and business development activities.
  • Ensure accurate filing and organization of marketing and business development assets.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, and at least one to three years of s of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role. The successful candidate will be analytical, strategic and resourceful. He/she will will additionally possess:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM platforms or email marketing tools
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and business development processes.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
