COBOL Resources I need to evaluate the availability of COBOL programmers who could need what is described below. Please note this is a request for information that should provide the approximate number available, the average cost per hour (or a range) and experience. Thank you!
Due to the nature of the work involved and type of data that each adjudicator will have access to, the Contractor shall ensure that Programmers can do the following:
2.2.1 Support and maintenance of current DWD UI mainframe COBOL programs
2.2.2 Troubleshooting and defect fixes of DWD UI mainframe applications
2.2.3 Requirements analysis, software design related tasks associated with functional changes to DWD UI mainframe applications
2.2.4 Programming to modify current DWD UI mainframe COBOL programs or develop new mainframe COBOL programs to implement new functionality and changes to processing to implement changes to federal, state Unemployment Insurance programs.
2.2.5 Unit and system testing of enhancements, changes, and defect fixes;
2.2.6 Documentation of changes made to software programs;
2.2.7 Interpret and apply rules, policy, or complex instructions.
2.2.8 Manage change and work in a rapidly changing environment.
2.2.9 Be accurate and detailed when providing services.
2.2.10 Work independently.
2.2.11 Exercise good organizational and time management skills.
2.2.12 Use good judgment when providing services.
2.2.13 Use basic office software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and web-based-applications or similar.
2.2.14 Follow the confidentiality safeguard requirements of Wisconsin Administrative Code DWD § 149.06.
2.2.15 Maintain confidentiality about all information.
2.2.16 Follow all security policies and procedures, as defined by DWD UI.
