Desktop Support 3 (16076) Description
Provides expert level technical assistance in support and preparation of desktop supported applications and hardware. Requires extensive knowledge of and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, desktop operating systems, desktop applications, desktop hardware, laptop systems, desktop printer support, iPhones/smart phones, other supported wireless devices and peripherals. This Title receives escalated level support issues from HelpDesk and Enterprise Support Center. Has 8 or more years of experience in Desktop Support. Familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The help desk 3 is moving towards helping test and implement in house software. The 1 and 2 help desk positions have been able to answer and resolve most questions and issues that arise. The label for their Help Desk 3 is focused more on implementing and testing software for the system's they use rather than helpdesk support, which is secondary.
Supplier Question: Can you please let me know if there will be any travel involved in this role? If so, will they be visiting/working in the correctional facilities?
