About the BDR Role

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll take a consultative approach to engaging prospective clients and booking high-quality meetings for Account Executives. You’ll be introducing a powerful SaaS platform that supports investor onboarding, fundraising, compliance, and reporting—all within the fast-evolving world of alternative investments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Engage with potential customers through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach

  • Educate and inform prospects about the company’s products and services

  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives

  • Meet and exceed performance targets for outreach and conversions

  • Learn prospecting strategies, CRM tools, and sales best practices while earning an industry-recognized Sales Certification

Required Skills:

  • Resilience and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidence with cold outreach and consultative selling

  • Coachable attitude with a hunger to learn and grow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, and Outlook

  • B2B SaaS sales experience

  • Interest in fintech, private equity, or wealth management

  • Strong Communication: Clear, professional communication over phone and email

  • Coachability: Eager to learn, accept feedback, and improve

  • Outbound Prospecting: Confident initiating cold calls, emails, and social outreach

  • Tech Proficiency: Experience or ability to learn Salesforce, Salesloft, Outlook, and other sales tools

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability for the duration of the Residency

  • A clear understanding of the BDR role and how your skills align with it

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A passion for sales and a desire to build a long-term career in tech
