About the BDR Role

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in generating pipeline and introducing a next-generation API platform to potential customers. The product helps brands integrate protection plans and extended warranties seamlessly into their digital storefronts—improving customer trust, increasing revenue, and simplifying the claims process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

? Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage with prospects

? Educate potential customers on the platform’s capabilities and value

? Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book meetings for Account Executives

? Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and campaigns

? Track activities and pipeline in CRM systems while meeting outreach and conversion goals

 

Required Skills:

? Grit and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment

? Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills

? Interest in APIs, SaaS, or e-commerce enablement tools

? Coachability and a growth mindset with a desire to improve quickly

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, and modern prospecting tools
  • Exposure to e-commerce or developer platforms is a plus
  • Passion for tech, fintech, or retail innovation

Requirements:

? Full-time availability for the duration of the Residency

? A clear understanding of the BDR role and how your skills align with it

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? A passion for sales and a desire to build a long-term career in tech
