Director, New Business Development , Mortgage Consulting Services

As the Director, New Business Development for our clients Consulting and Due Diligence division you are focused on growing our real estate services, Nationally. The primary focus will be marketing to loan originators, servicers and secondary market participants for the clients collateral document and title curative services. You will be required to build business by identifying and selling prospective clients within the mortgage community. You will also be required to maintain relationships with prospective and converted clients. Existing client base and active client engagements are preferred!

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and qualify new client contacts
  2. Complete initial opportunity evaluation
  3. Convert relationships into exclusive mandate
  4. Work as part of team with operations to develop services to meet client’s objectives
  5. Develop market intelligence on new services
  6. Adjust content of sales presentation to client situation
  7. Attend industry conferences
  8. Participate within group to develop marketing strategies to broaden services
  9. Keep senior management informed by updating Salesforce and participating in sales calls

 

Skills & Abilities:

Ideal Background/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentration in Real Estate a plus
  2. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience marketing residential mortgage services
  3. Proven track record of closing
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
  6. Extensive travel required

Access to a major airport; travel 80%.
