Communications Executive

Our rapidly growing team is looking for a Communications Executive to take an active role in delivering our full communications scope in Europe and the Americas. Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role is responsible for executing PR and social media activities and driving a culture of continuous improvement within the team by managing monitoring and analysis reports and relationship management tools. The ECARX communications team is tasked with growing the brand through PR, events, digital and social media, thought leadership and public speaking. This role will sit across the various disciplines offering a strong opportunity to play an active role across the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Head of Communications in the delivery of communication strategies across PR, digital and social media channels.
  • Write press releases, news articles, social media posts and other assets to support the delivery of communication activity.
  • Support the creation of digital assets with external suppliers.
  • Engage with media to drive coverage, answer questions and build a profile for ECARX.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to support their communication needs, and gather information to develop communication narratives.
  • Take ownership of ECARX’s media database, ensuring contacts are up to date, distribution lists are targeted and relevant and proactively identify new media opportunities.
  • Take ownership of ECARX’s media monitoring and analysis tool to provide reports on key activity, driving a culture of continuous improvement based on a results-driven approach.
  • Support the wider communications team in the delivery of their departmental objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and/or Business Administration.
  • Excellent written, verbal and aural skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to quickly pick up tasks and achieve results.
  • Experience in a tech-focused company, demonstrating the ability to translate complex issues into understandable messages.
  • The ability to manage ambiguity, rapidly evolving situations and to support and lead team members through the same.
  • Practical experience in the Communications field, hands-on mentality and a can-do attitude.
  • People skills with experience working and collaborating at all levels and with all functions.
  • Problem-solving skills, excellent influencing skills and an effective team player.

This role requires 4 days on-site in the office
