SOX Manager

Our rapidly growing team is looking for SOX Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Director of Internal Controls & SOX Compliance in the SOX implementation project oversight
  • Lead & design structure for recurring risk assessments including continuous improvement of functional controls
  • Lead efforts about policy updates, education, monitoring, and enforcement initiatives to ensure financial statement accuracy
  • Support the control design and testing procedures and develop an effective plan for issue management including remediation efforts
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and continually improve the value delivery of the Internal Controls & SOX Compliance Program and improve the delivery of accounting policies and guidelines
  • Liaison with External Auditors and Internal Audit team to determine and facilitate audit activities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), part qualified or QBE with a grounded experience in financial controls.
  • Extensive knowledge of risks, processes, and internal controls within all main process areas.
  • Exposure to USGAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) is preferred (implementation, annual testing programme).
  • Implementation of best practice internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT).
  • External / Internal Audit experience.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills in relation to stakeholder management.
  • Experience in driving control improvements and remediation actions with global teams including as part of finance transformation projects.

This role requires 4 days on-site in the office
