SEC Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented SEC Reporting Manager to join our finance team. The SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 10-Qs and 8-Ks. The successful candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Review and interpret new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the accounting, legal, and investor relations teams, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure that all SEC reports are reviewed and approved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and maintain various schedules and analyses related to SEC reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of other external financial reports, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification required with Big 4 experience. 
  • 6-8 years of experience in SEC reporting, including experience in a management role.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in managing a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Have worked in reputable publicly traded organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with SEC reporting software preferred.

This role requires 4 days on-site in the office
