Larry’s Design Center is devoted to creating beautiful, custom window treatments for any residential or commercial location. We have an immediate opening for a Showroom Manager that will be responsible for the success of our showroom. We are a Certified Professional Dealer for Hunter Douglas window treatments. Come work with us in our New Hyde Park, NY location, where you will:

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the retail business.
  • Take direct responsibility for managing, scheduling, and training all store employees.
  • Give customers tours of the showroom and discuss our products at a detailed level.
  • Be an expert in our company's capabilities, product offerings, service information, and pricing.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of success in an entrepreneurial retail environment.
  • Fully understand and utilize the processes, operational tools, and systems, necessary to our success.

About You

You will have the capability for, and the interest in scheduling, design, and customer challenges. You will be required to lead our store to reach revenue targets through greeting customers in the showroom, follow-ups, and ultimately, customer satisfaction. In your background, you will have demonstrated:

  • Experience working with interior design products and/or projects
  • Effective phone/in-person communication with vendors, customers, co-workers and management.
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving in a customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to learn and understand basic window treatment design/installation.
  • Be extremely detail oriented and have good organizational skills.
  • Work under deadlines/pressure and stay focused and on task.
