Sr. Manager FP&A

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our finance team. The Sr. Manager of FP&A will be responsible for managing the ECARX group FP&A timelines and calendars, creating reporting decks for senior management and making recommendations that shape capital allocations and strategic decisions. The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working in collaboration with regional Finance teams and other senior stakeholders to ensure planning is delivered on time and reflects a balanced view of the Company’s outlook.

     

  • Manage the analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures, to drive business decisions and improve financial performance.
  • Develop a robust FP&A framework and establish into a best-in-class analytical function using accurate data to drive decision making which is integrated across the group

     

  • Work with a new FP&A system designed from scratch and ensure continuous improvement

     

  • Maintain periodic tracking of forecasts against actuals, budget and targets to support guidance given to investors and bridging key variances with and without Fx movements

     

  • Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial analysis and guidance in support of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Advise on key business activities drivers and provide recommend strategies that the company should take to meet budgets or targets and achieve the strategic opportunities of the business
  • Co-ordinate, construct, and present annual budgets to senior managers with clear recommendations and commentary

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Technology and/or automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning software and ERP & EPM systems required.
  • Have worked in reputable publicly traded organizations.

     

  • Experience in an international scale environment preferred.

     

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles and concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin preferred.
