Operations Vendor Manager

TalentBoost (Point32Health) - Canton, MA

Works collaboratively with vendors to develop effective and strategic partnership on execution of production operations. This role will have oversight of core functions as outlined by established contracts and will be responsible for ensuring that delivery is aligned to Point32Health enterprise strategy and executed according to associated Service Level Agreements. Partner with functional owners to optimize efficiencies that support cohesive alignment throughout the production operations team.


Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Act as liaison between vendor management, procurement and functional (capability) owner.
  • Partner with budget managers on financial administration for monthly invoice validation, budget oversight, and verification of services rendered.
  • Manage operational concerns with business owner and Business Improvement (BI).
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
  • Partner with vendors, workforce management and others to calibrate on resource needs, adds to staff, attrition monitoring etc.
  • Ensure adherence to Point32Health business and compliance requirements.
  • Requests CAPs as appropriate
  • Assessment of vendor workflows to ensure alignments and compatibility with internal teams
  • Manage business process office (BPO) performance including service levels agreements (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Inform business owners on BPO personnel changes, performance issues, strategic updates
  • Coordinate annual planning with vendor partners
  • Establish process with BPO to identify/understand issues/concerns, impact on the organization, any associated costs and recommend solutions




  • Bachelor’s in business or related field

EXPERIENCE (minimum years required):

  • 5-7 years experience as in a role supporting vendor management, organization or operation excellence. Prefer experience in Health Insurance


  • Must be able to build strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
  • The ability to bring people together to leverage their skills, talents, and knowledge to achieve a common purpose. Create synergy—resulting in a combined effort with greater results than those achieved by individuals.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
