We are a social entrepreneurial startup addressing food service and food safety education seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as our President. The President will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for the company, managing, and motivating the team, building partnerships with stakeholders, and driving growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for social entrepreneurship and food service and safety education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans and timelines for food safety programs
• Develop and execute the company's strategic vision and goals
• Build and lead a high-performing team that is aligned with the company's mission and values
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and community organizations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines
• Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Monitor industry trends and changes in market conditions, and adapt the company's strategy accordingly
• Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to ensure financial stability and growth
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization

Qualifications and Experience:

• Commensurate related experience, or a bachelor's degree in business, social justice, education, or a related field
• 7-10 years of leadership experience in a social entrepreneurial startup or related field, with experience in food service or food safety education preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in a startup or small business environment
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and opportunities
• Passion for social entrepreneurship and food service and safety education
• Prior labor organizing experience a plus
