At Home Designs, a family-owned home interiors company specializing in window treatments, is looking for an Office Assistant/Receptionist to come grow with us! We are dedicated to providing beautiful custom window treatments and home interior services including kitchen and bath remodeling. We strive to provide superior customer service. The person selected for this position will have significant responsibility for our continued growth and success. This position will work closely with the owner and shop manager and will have close interaction with our customers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills with computer and typing proficiency. Someone who loves to learn, help people and has strong administrative/organizational skills will be a great fit for this position. The position requires a minimum of 30 hours week with some Saturdays required. Knowledge and love for home interiors and window treatments a definite plus.
The successful candidate will have the capability to manage vendor and customer challenges. You will be the liaison between vendors, customers, installers, and sales personnel, all to ensure timeliness in completed jobs and, ultimately the best in customer satisfaction.
