Job Summary:

Our client develops, builds and supplies advanced aerospace systems, components and sustainable technologies– for use in commercial and defense aircrafts. This is a long term to temp to hire opportunity where you will be maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery with a focus on Electronic Components. 

Responsible:

• Maintain and repair Electrical and Electronic systems and equipment used in Manufacturing of Aerospace components.
• Assist in running an efficient maintenance operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets
• Maintain and repair Circuit Boards with in-depth trouble shooting.
• Knowledge of CAD and schematics for machines and building updates.
• Manage maintenance projects.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Understand and work in accordance with the company’s quality requirements.
• Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Understand and maintain high standards of tidiness and organization in line with good 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practice.
• Understand and work in accordance with mandatory requirements of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 – 10 years work experience performing Electrical Maintenance on Manufacturing / Production equipment
• Experience with PLC's and HMI
• Troubleshooting to component level.
• Ability to repair mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Basic math skills; must be able to use a calculator and compute basic math equations.
