Overview:

Full time direct role with our client, seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive technician to join their team in Poway, CA. As an automotive technician you will be responsible for upgrading and modifying vehicles to support wheelchair accessibility, mobile driving aids, wheel chair lifts, and other mobility solutions per customer specifications. Responsibilities:

• Modify vehicles per customer requirements.
• Install components, wiring, and modifications per manufacturer instructions and shop procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, manuals and verbal instructions to complete vehicle modifications.
• Willing to learn new techniques.
• Willing to work as a team and achieve company goals and standards.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support company needs and objectives.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Must be able to read and write fluently in English
• Ability to sit, stand, and work in confined spaces as needed
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
