HR Generalist II

We are partnered with one of America's largest manufacturing companies seeking for an HR Generalist II to join their team. As the HR Generalist II, you play a crucial role in our client's Human Resources Department. Reporting to the HR Director, this position is responsible for executing key HR initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

**This is a permanent and onsite position with 1 day/week work from home.

Core Duties:

  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws, proposing policy revisions as needed.

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports and filings accurately and on time.

  • Provide guidance and support for employee engagement initiatives to foster a values-driven culture.

  • Assist managers with corrective actions and investigations, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies.

  • Serve as a resource for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and maintaining confidentiality.

  • Assist in developing and implementing internal training programs to enhance employee skills.

  • Support performance management processes, ensuring managers meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Evaluate learning platforms, suggesting improvements for effective training delivery.

  • Collaborate with Benefits and Payroll teams for audits, open enrollment, and compliance activities.

  • Share responsibilities with Payroll for processing and auditing payroll accurately and promptly.

  • Manage leave of absence policies in compliance with laws and company guidelines.

  • Cross-train within HR and other departments to provide backup support as required, promoting teamwork.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition for seamless recruiting, screening, and onboarding processes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with a commitment to ethical conduct.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.




Compensation: $70-75k/year (DOE)
