We are currently partnered with a growing company from the food and beverages space seeking for a Director of Training will play a pivotal role in driving strategic learning and development initiatives throughout the organization, with a keen focus on delivering exceptional learning experiences. This role encompasses the oversight of training processes for field-based teams and new restaurant openings, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. This is a permanent and onsite position in Dallas, Forth Worth Texas area. Travel required. Core Duties: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Human Resources, Construction, Marketing, and Development. Inspire a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence among Management in Training (MIT) programs. Serve as the senior leader responsible for all aspects of learning and development, deeply integrated with people management processes. Craft and implement strategies to enhance the training experience, ensuring consistency and excellence across the enterprise. Foster collaborative relationships with the Executive Team to align training objectives with overall business goals. Develop and refine training materials as necessary, ensuring relevance and effectiveness. Lead training sessions for senior field leaders and new restaurant opening orientations, facilitating impactful learning experiences. Develop and deliver impact stories demonstrating the return on investment (ROI) of learning solutions, tied to business metrics and guest experience. Monitor and evaluate the execution of new restaurant opening training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Effectively communicate changes in planning and procedures to restaurant leaders, providing necessary tools for successful transition. Maintain clear and organized verbal and written communication, tailored to audience needs. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least 4 years of experience leading a training team in a fast-paced, high-growth organization, with previous restaurant experience. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an understanding of audience needs. Knowledge of various training delivery modes, including Instructor-Led, Computer-Based, blended, and webinar. Experience in leading and developing learning professionals. Proficiency in resolving complex conflicts and providing timely coaching and feedback Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000
