Our healthcare services client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team and be involved with their financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the daily and month-end close process and be responsible for the accounting matters of their various operating locations. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and post daily and month-end entries for specific business locations within the organization
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis of various balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and related analysis and provide profitability reports for business decision support
• Prepare variance analysis and calculations and work with business unit management for financial support
• Assist in various ad-hoc projects and corporate initiatives when presented

 

The qualified Senior Accountant will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Approximately 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting; prior experience in the hospitality or commercial property management industries is a plus
• Experience with intercompany transactions and cost sharing/allocations in a multi-entity organization is highly preferred
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fluid business operating state
• Motivated to learn and grow in their career

This opportunity is a HYBRID work arrangement – 3 days IN-OFFICE / 2 days REMOTE.
