Our large, media and entertainment client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to bolster their corporate FP&A team. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for variances between actual and forecasts
• Assist in the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Provide financial reporting and analysis for senior management to assist in strategic planning
• Analyze and summarize critical corporate metrics and external reports utilized for external earnings guidance
• Perform other complex analysis in support of key business objectives and initiatives

The qualified Senior Financial Analyst:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related area with at least 3+ years of experience in corporate finance
• Will have financial analysis experience ideally in a consumer product or media/entertainment industry
• Will possess strong skills with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos
• Will possess advanced Excel skills
• Will possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of operations on financial results
• Should have strong cognitive, communication (vocal and engaging), and assertive leadership skills
• Must have an inquisitive and proactive mindset
