Our publicly held financial services client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their organization and be heavily involved with financial analysis & reporting, preparing metrics and dashboards, and performing various trend analysis for all aspects of the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Work with various departments to develop necessary financial and operational reporting
• Review and help produce monthly Executive and Board Reports
• Maintain financial database by identifying sources of information and verifying and analyzing data
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining data and information
• Develop and/or enhances current financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting, modeling, and variance analysis
• Perform other job functions as required

 

The qualified Senior Financial Analyst must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related business field. The Senior Financial Analyst should have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate finance setting preferably with financial services industry knowledge/background. The Senior Financial Analyst candidate should have functional knowledge of reporting and/or BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or SQL. The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role does not require any travel.
